Our company founders developed Turtle Island Communications, Inc. (TICOM) with a clear objective in mind – to provide technical services to tribes, American Indian organizations, and state and federal agencies that improve telecommunication services to Indian communities. Our management team brings extensive telecommunication industry experience, and cultural competency to meet the project needs of our clients.

We have participated in local, state, and federal telecommunication policy roundtable sessions that address improving services within Indian communities. We have worked with federal and state policy makers to shape telecommunication policy so that it addresses tribal needs. Tribal communities are faced with making important decisions in assessing how they will prepare themselves from crossing the Digital Divide, into an area of Digital Opportunity. We look forward to supporting your technical consulting needs, whether you choose to work with your local service provider to improve services, or want to assess economic telecommunication opportunities for your tribe or organization.

Our services are designed to assist our clients in telecommunication technology planning, system design, network implementation, and training.
